Legacy Week

Legacy Week was 9 –15 March 2015

Legacy Week was an opportunity for people, communities and organisations across Scotland to highlight the legacy of the Commonwealth Games and how programmes, projects and investment that are benefitting people across Scotland and in Glasgow. Legacy Week is supported by the Scottish Government and partners across Scotland delivering the legacy of the Games. It was the third Legacy Week to be held and the first Legacy Week since the Games took place last summer.

Legacy Week started on Commonwealth Day, 9 March. Commonwealth Day is celebrated across the Commonwealth by young people, schools, communities and civil society organisations on the second Monday in March every year. The theme for this year’s Commonwealth Day was Young Commonwealth.
